Bolt Extensometer Kits

Bridge & Step Micrometer Kits

Uses:
The Bolt Extensometer is used to measure bolt stretch on stop valves, control valves, rotor couplings and turbine joints. It can be used on both through and blind bolt holes. The kit includes a handle for buttons to take readings in any area where the rod cannot be inserted into the stud.

Additional Options:
GE and Westinghouse versions available.

Bridge & Step Micrometer Kits

Uses:

Used to check the elevation difference between two joints and also used to check the height of crush pins, diaphragm springs, welds and diaphragm pins.

Specifications:

Comes with a bridge block, wrench and one 1" micrometer head. Step block is optional.

Packing tooth scrapers

Uses:

Used to reestablish taper edges on steam packing. The angle on the cutting tips is the same as the angle on the packing. If a different angle is desired, the tips can be removed for grinding. The scraper has an adjusting screw in the adapter that holds the cutting bits for setting the tip height.

Specifications:

Scraper comes with two blades.

Bottom, Plug and Taper Taps available in carbon steel and high speed steel. Dies available in Round or Hex shapes. Taps and Dies come in standard thread or eight thread from 1" to 6".

Portable Power Centers

Uses:
Portable Electric Distribution Centers are used to provide a portable power source on turbine decks and at other plant sites for plugging in and operating Electric Bolt Heaters and other plant equipment.

Specifications:
Each unit has heavy duty structural steel construction with a high quality industrial epoxy finish as well as heavy duty steel casters and lifting eyes for portability. Units typically contain a 208 or 480 Volt power source, up to 75 KVA input transformer to 120 and 240 Volt outlets in a NEMA enclosure (GFI breakers with twist lock industrial receptacles).

Additional Options:
A full complement of accessories including Feeder Cables, Extension Cords, Bolt Heater Racks, etc.
