Taper gauges

Uses:
Taper gauges are designed for taking clearance readings on turbine wheels, diaphragms and packing.

Specifications:
The heavy slider is calibrated to the vernier scale and the angel of the gauge. Each taper gauge is 3/8" wide and imprinted with easy to read numbers.

Additional Options:
Available in four different combinations starting at .010" up to 1".

Metric gauges are also available.

Uses:
Radius Taper Gauges eliminate cutting wedges out of shim stock for micrometer reading and estimating of axially clearance reading between the rotor and packing gland. These readings are known as “X and Y” or “A and B” in the turbine industry.

Gauge is 1/4" wide. Range is .010" - .250". Gauges are imprinted with easy to read numbers

Uses:
The Radius Packing Gauge is designed to be able to clear the shaft and rotor below the joint to take the radial readings between the packing and the shaft. Reading can be taken at the horizontal joint and below the joint where the packing teeth are broken or damaged.

Gauge is 1/4“ wide. Range is .010" - .250". Gauges are imprinted with easy to read numbers.
